I have a feeling that most active neo-nazi have already thrown a couple of punch in their lifetime. And im talking about regular neo-nazi, for lack of a better word, not a full patch Hell's Angel like the guy in the picture. That guy im %100 sure have thrown several and im also sure he knows how to use a gun.Old_ones wrote:As a general rule I'm not in favor of targeting people with violence based on thier ideology or religion (not even Muslims!). But I do find a certain irony in this, because a lot of the people who would self apply the term Nazi these days are in skinhead gangs and are actively violent. These FTB SJW types better be careful where they wear that shit, because a lot of skinheads would probably take that as a challenge.

This KG person links to two vile pieces of character assassination on Nawaz. You can gauge the quality of these hit pieces if you consider this quote about Sam Harris from the first link:KG wrote:
11 February 2017 at 5:24 pmNope. Maajid Nawaz is almost as phoney as Walid Shoebat. His sole interest is the greater prosperity and glory of Maajid Nawaz. He was at one time a member of an extreme (although not provenly terrorist) Islamist group, Hizb ut-Tahrir [as Nawaz himself has discussed at length, JS]. He now snuggles up to the Islamophobic right, including not only Sam Harris and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, but American neocon outfits such as the Koch brothers affiliated “Gen Next”, with which his Quilliam Foundation’s US offshoot shared an office (I don’t know if it still does), and Douglas Murray of the Henry Jackson Society, himself a chum of Pamela Geller and Richard Spencer.Progressive Muslims exist. One famous example is Maajid Nawaz. – krsone@362
That's not at all a horribly twisted mischaracterisation of Harris' views, right? The same journalist, in a different but equally tendentious piece, argued that the rise of ISIS is entirely the fault of western capitalism. That's the ratty kind of journalist who is deemed fit to pronounce judgement on a brave man like Nawaz (among whose flaws seems to be that he likes to wear "Harris tweed waistcoats and red corduroy pants", according to the author of the second hit piece. Nawaz must be a really bad person.).An avid supporter of torturing Muslim terror suspects and racially profiling “anyone who looks like he or she could conceivably be Muslim,” Harris is also a New Age transcendental meditation enthusiast who has suggested that babbling infants might be speaking ancient languages.

Steersman wrote:Dear [MP]:
I am writing to express my complete and utter disapproval of Member’s Bill 103 titled “Systemic racism and religious discrimination”, apparently slated to be discussed later this week, particularly its stated intention to “condemn Islamophobia”. And that is primarily because I see absolutely nothing in the Bill in the way of a definition of what constitutes “islamophobia” to begin with; it seems remarkably wrongheaded, and likely to cause far more problems than it could ever solve, not to mention being a complete waste of government resources, to potentially criminalize something which is not even adequately defined.
Further, I don’t think it takes much in the way of an awareness of current events to realize that there is much within Islam itself that is more than a little problematic if not barbaric and odious. Is our government going to deny Canadian citizens the right to criticize and discuss those aspects? How else is Islam ever going to embark on a necessary process of reform if all voices, including many from within the ex-Muslim community [1], that are engaged in highlighting those aspects are muzzled or silenced, simply because they might potentially come under the rubric of “islamophobia”?
And apropos of which, Ibn Warraq in his “Why I’m Not A Muslim” (highly recommended) argued that:More specifically, I might point you to a Washington Post article [2] which describes how a “Bill banning child marriage fails in Pakistan after it’s deemed ‘un-Islamic’”. Are the Canadian government, and the Liberal Party, going to insist that criticizing such barbarisms is to be denied because it might be construed as “islamophobic”? And that’s hardly the tip of a rather mephitic iceberg. Consider this case – described in damning detail on the website [3] “Why Evolution Is True” of the well-regarded biologist and author Jerry Coyne, and in a “Daily Beast” article [4] by the well-known Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz – that shows an odious level of support among the Muslim community – both in Pakistan and in Britain – for killing people for “supposedly” being guilty of blaspheming Islam. A few specifics from Coyne’s post, some of which quotes Nawaz:“Without criticism, Islam will remain unassailed in its dogmatic, fanatical, medieval fortress; ossified in its totalitarian, intolerant, paranoid past. It will continue to stifle thought, human rights, individuality, originality, and truth.
Western scholars and Islamicists have totally failed in their duties as intellectuals. They have betrayed their calling by abandoning their critical faculties when it comes to Islam. Some, as I shall show, have even abandoned any attempt to achieve objectivity, to aim at objective truth. [pgs 14-15]”And there are many similar horror stories about other people, including those within the Ahmadiya sect of Islam [5], being murdered by other Muslims simply because they are supposedly guilty of the “crimes” of apostasy, heresy, or non-belief [6]. Surely, the Liberal Party and the Government of Canada isn’t going to insist that criticisms of such barbarisms are going to be silenced simply because they might be criminalized as “islamophobic”?In a new piece at the Daily Beast, moderate Muslim Maajid Nawaz has sorrows. Why? Because members of his very own branch of Islam, the Barelwi sect of Pakistani Sufi Islam, are not behaving moderately.
The backstory is this: a Christian woman in Pakistan, Asia Bibi, was sentenced to death for blasphemy, apparently a charge cooked up by local Muslims who could not forgive her for drinking from the cup they used. (She’s still in jail.)
Then, a “flamboyant secular Muslim,” Salmaan Taseer, governor of Punjab province, defended Asia Bibi in public and lobbied for a lightening of Pakistan’s odious laws against blasphemy. That itself was considered blasphemy, and so, in January, 2011 Taseer was gunned down with an AK47 by his bodyguard, Mumtaz Qadri. Predictably, thousands of Pakistanis considered Qadri to have done a heroic thing, and protested in his favor. Nevertheless, he was arrested and hanged for murder on February 29 of this year.
What bothers Maajid most, though, is the reaction of his fellow British Muslims, including those of his own sect, to Qadri’s “martyrdom”. And here I’ll quote Nawaz himself:
Even in the U.K., the reaction has been difficult to comprehend.
Previously, a quarter of my fellow British Muslims have expressed sympathy with the terrorists who attacked the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris. And now, certain Muslim religious and community “leaders,” who position themselves as anti-ISIS and “mainstream,” have come out publicly praising Qadri as a hero.
One of Europe’s largest mosques, the Barelwi Sufi-managed Ghamkol Sharif in Birmingham, U.K., held a wake “in honor of the lover of the Prophet, Warrior Mumtaz Qadri, the martyr.”
Another Barelwi Imam, Muhammed Asim Hussain, whose verified Facebook page has been liked nearly 137,000 times, posted his position openly:
“A dark day in the history of Pakistan; the day Ghazi [warrior] Mumtaz was wrongfully executed and martyred in the way of Allah, when he did what he did in honor of the Prophet.”
The (late) British philosopher Anthony Flew, in his review [7] of “Why I’m Not a Muslim”, argued that that book provided voluminous justification for concluding that “Islam is flatly incompatible with the establishment and maintenance of the equal individual rights and liberties of a liberal, democratic, secular state”. And if that is really the case – and given that there are virtually no Muslim democracies, Turkey being the sole and rather sad failed experiment in that regard, and given that virtually no Muslim groups or communities in the West have explicitly repudiated Sharia and halal and child marriage and FGM and gender segregation, among other equally problematic “values” – then it’s hard not to see that that thesis is rather conclusively proven.
Seems to me that far too many in Western society, journalism and governments, including our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, are far too quick to pander to the Muslim community and vote – as in his apparent condoning of egregious cases of gender segregation among Muslims [8] – while turning a blind eye to the many odious aspects of Islam. And Bill M103 is really only one more clear manifestation of that, and should be soundly defeated and rejected – or, at the very least, sent back for some serious discussion of the issues involved by both the Government and society in general.
Finally, somewhat in passing, I would really like to know how it is that Saudi Arabia, a Muslim country with arguably the worst human rights record in the world, was chosen to head the UN Human Rights Council [9]; where was Canada’s vote in that travesty? In addition, as I see that you’re on Twitter, I do hope you will also take a close look at the comments under the #NoToM103 hashtag.
Yours sincerely,
[Steersman]

She made a documentary about her suffering, filmed in bed on her phone, selfie style, which showed at Sundance. There's a long history of feminists saying female hysteria was a sexist diagnosis, proof of misogyny. Except in men it was called battlefield malingering, a court-martial offense, & shellshocked troops could be shot or hanged for it. And treating male & female hysteria as two different diseases is exactly what the first feminist complained that medicine doesnt-do. And the wikipedia 'history' subheading for Coversion disorder shows everyone from Freud to DSM-5 working hard to help these women & explicitly differentiating between conflating the disease with faking, hypochondria, or 'all in your head'/no physical aspect.
