I voted to answer the question in the subject ("which features should stay?") instead of the question in the header ("Should I disable any of these?"), which are opposite questions.
Also, I don't see any way to change my vote.

Re: The Refuge of the Toads
Jesus fuck, this child fucking witchhunt is becoming unbearable. Agreed. Trying to turn a statement of "I didn't boink anyone underage" into an admission of boinking someone underage is a tactic worthy of A+ers, not of the people here. Who said that? If you can quote someone saying that I'm on boar...

Re: The Refuge of the Toads
Here's hoping that some students refuse to be videotaped, citing their right to privacy under FERPA. (I don't know if FERPA actually covers videotaping, but absent a clear precedent saying that it doesn't it's likely to throw a wrench into the works.) Apologies if I've been ninjad. In my experience...

Re: Happy 3rd Pit Birthday!
Trying to catch up so apologies if these things have been said already: 1) Geocities was shut down in 2009. It'd be the perfect home for PZ today. 2) To regain some of his reputation, Brayton really should have shut FTB down. Give a two week eviction notice, move himself to Patheos, then pull the pl...

Resistance 4eva! Have you been to any anomalies yet? No. I'm still pretty low level. There's plenty of stuff for lowbies to do at an anomaly. If there's ever one within a reasonable distance from you, I heartily recommend going. Ingress's enjoyment (at least for me) is 30% game and 70% meeting and ...

Re: Nerds. Nerds EVERYWHERE...
Let me pose the question this way to Beleth: Do you believe "being a good person" precludes someone drinking too much, by their own volition, and then doing something they might not do when sober? Does "being a good person" mean that person is incapable of confabulating an incident when they were d...

I see what you did there. Either I say that none of my friends are assholes, in which case I can't be trusted because I'm too biased to see that some of them must be assholes, or I admit that some of my friends are assholes, in which case I can't be trusted because I befriend assholes! I've been a friend of Alison / RemieV for a long time. She's quirky and complex, but two things are for sure: she is a grade-A bullshit detector, and what she says has as little spin built into it as possible. Her dog is named after Dr. John Watson, not Rebecca. It should not be surprising to find ...

The blind guy who was ignored by Melody Hensley seems to be a long time friend of Rebecca, probably through knowing her from the UK based pod delusion podcast that involved both of them. He has written a couple of articles for the skepchicks site, the most recent being just a few weeks ago. http://...

Re: So, I decided to make an account here
That Beleth on last.fm that you linked to is a band. Are you sure that they're a death metal band though? They're a black metal band as far as I can tell. You are probably right. I stand corrected. @Beleth Can you elaborate as to exactly what the risk is, at which you implemented a solution to deal...

Re: So, I decided to make an account here
I assessed the risk and implemented a solution which, in my opinion, adequately dealt with that risk.

Re: So, I decided to make an account here
I've come across people on the internet who have done similar as you say, stake a claim to their username by making a account on a site, at which I do not understand really why people would care to do this. I mean anybody can make up whatever username they want on whatever internet site they want. ...

Welcome Beleth, I assume as you've been here before you know most of the activity is in the Periodic Table of Swearing thread. I did notice that. It's a challenge to keep caught up in that thread! And I didn't think a welcome post was appropriate there. Welcome Beleth! There isn't really two sides ...

So, I decided to make an account here
Hi. I'm Beleth. You may remember me from such volunteer gigs as "My Four Years Running The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe Forums". I'm mainly signing up here because I want to stake my claim to this username. I did this at the Atheism+ Forum long ago, and I realized that it was hard to appear neutr...
