In my book, anyone who thinks "God said I could" is sufficient justification for killing a highly intelligent mammal is a cunt. I wouldn't necessarily say that hunting an elephant under any circumstance makes one a cunt, but there are way more factors to consider than whether God approves.
Any argument against hunting will involve some degree of emotion, and that includes hunting humans. That doesn't negate the argument or make it wrong.
I have hunted pretty much all my life. Even now, with multiple debilitating injuries I manage to thin the rat, possum and assorted vermin of my neighborhood. But if you're just shooting things without a code, you're not hunting, you're just killing things. There is no need to control the elephant population with hunting. It is only so that locals can get rich and some wealthy idiot can bolster his fragile manhood. Elephants are bright, have been over-hunted, and nobody needs the meat.
If you're not controlling a pest problem that would otherwise be poisoned or hunting non-intelligent animals for meat, you're just killing things for the fun of it. That might be an emotional judgement, but it is one that speaks to our fundamental humanity.

It is called:
1. Have a emergency savings fund.
2. Set money aside each pay cycle to invest in diversified low cost index funds.
3. Don't go into debt and pay interest with exceptions for college or a house, maybe a car initially.
4. Have proper insurance for expenses you would not be able to swallow (Health, Home, Auto), but make them as high deductible as you can deal with.
5. Track your expenses.

Sooner or later the MeToo fad was always going to go out of fashion. The movement which inspired the fad is here to stay, though, and there'll be new feeding frenzies in the future.
