My son sprained his ankle last week and we had to go to the emergency room for x-rays(the doctor's office machine was down).
He got them done and we were waiting to see the outcome and they had us in this little waiting room. This woman got on the phone and started offering advice including no to tell people what the person was doing because people "can pray against you". I had never heard of this concept inside of Christianity and thought just how awful.
There are people who believe in God and he will directly be swayed to either help or harm based off pray.
