ABC think training in consent on age-play should start quite quickly after birth.

It starts out really boring, but gets tolerable if you turn off the sound. Here's hoping more cute twenty-year-old women want to protest Patriarchy.A Cornell University student was so offended that her female professor questioned her outfit in preparation for her thesis presentation that she ditched most of the outfit – as did her protesting audience.
Yes, there was a livestream. And yes, the Title IX office is involved.
The Cornell Daily Sun reports that Prof. Rebekah Maggor allegedly asked student Letitia Chai “is that really what you would wear?” when Chai wore jean shorts during “a trial run of her thesis presentation on rehabilitation for displaced people and refugees.”
The syllabus for the public-speaking course explicitly warns students their choice of clothing will be scrutinized:Perhaps Chai thought of her presentation as a protest, and decided jean shorts were something she’d wear at a rally. The work in this course requires the ability to move freely. Wear clothes and footwear that are comfortable and will allow you a free range of movement in class. For your
performances, dress appropriately for the persona you will present. (For example, how
would you dress for a specific job interview? How would you dress when introducing a
famous speaker at a particular conference? How would you dress to give a speech at a
protest rally?)
Maggor allegedly told her the outfit would also detract from “men’s attention” toward her material, and a “male international student” said Chai has a “moral obligation” to wear something more conservative in a presentation, at which “Chai left the room with two students following to comfort her,” according to the Sun.
The professor said she had previously asked a male student to remove a cap during the presentation, but Chai thinks the question toward her reflected sexism.
The student walked back into the theater and did her trial presentation in her bra and underwear.

In the UK, Channel 4 had a programme on called "Genderquake". Not seen it yet, and I'm waiting for someone to upload it to YT. For laughs.
Anyway, I got the impression it was rather "woke", but apparently, it was problematic. And not just because Germaine Greer was a guest. Apparently, the trans lobby were not happy that not enough respect and submission was given to their views. And some people in the audience had the temerity to "heckle" some of the pro-trans guests, including anti-white racist Munroe Bergdahl.
One woman in the audience, a member of the UK Green Party (lefty vegetarian feminist types), was spotted heckling. And the pitchforks came for her......

If there was a forum of women bitching about how men are disgusting and evil and deserve to be wiped out from the face of the earth, then maybe you'd hear about how they're victims, even if one of those women killed her boyfriend or cut off his fingers with a katana.

That might be, but I think you're too charitable. The old goat is signaling he isn't impressed with her alleged beauty. In other words: my sexual preferences are good, yours are bad, and if you don't want me it's because you're a bigot.I have a right to not date trans women.’
(Almost always prefaced with ‘I don’t have anything against trans women, but…’)
You also have a right to not date women of Jewish or Islamic heritage, bisexual women, infertile women, left-handed women, and women who exceed the ‘one-drop rule’. And I have the right to seriously question your motives.
Let’s be clear: We all have legitimate preferences in the bodies we connect with — I myself favour larger men (sorry, you guys under 180cm and 90kg!), and they need to have working penises. But when you reject a woman who fully meets your attraction profile, one has to wonder what’s really going on here.
When it comes to rejecting someone like me—someone whose appearance, function, and manner are indistinguishable from those of a cisgender woman—just because I have a trans history, the reasons must be intangible. Those reasons are inevitably the beliefs that I am not a ‘real’ woman, that I am ‘actually a man’, that I am mentally ill, and, in the crusty underneath of it all, that I am not human. These beliefs are resistant to evidence to the contrary, of which there is plenty, and are similar to the other prejudices listed above.
In other words, the bearer holds these beliefs about trans women irrespective of any potential sexual encounter: They represent ignorance at best, bigotry at worst. Refusal to consider the ample evidence which counters these beliefs places the bearer firmly in the class of bigot.
Totally, 100% different from the incels who think that you're a horrible human being for not dating them, the "supreme gentlemen", while they can reject women who have had other partners before them :twatson:

Canada's Green Party has one MP, and she is it's leader (PBUH). Recently her staff alleged harassment in the workplace, and after an investigation she was exonerated. Hardly surprising as she is the entire caucus. The moral of the story is that people who value the environment are still as wicked as everyone else, and those who value it more than their fellows are more wicked than most as they project their self-loathing onto the rest of humanity. Outward moral righteousness is an unfailing indicator of inward moral decay.shoutinghorse wrote: ↑ Does anyone actually take the Green party seriously, anywhere?

And to illustrate that point, a female Liberal MP who has enjoyed bringing down three male MPs for sexual harassment (one found guilty of being a 'close talker' - shame on him!) is now herself suspended for sexually harassing a disabled veteran who testified in front of her committee. She went full-on bunny boiler on him, presumably secure in her belief that she could do no wrong being a powerless woman in an evil patriarchy. The victim has quietly pointed out that there would be no doubt of the outcome if their sexes were reversed.

The one major misstep Rubin makes in that talk is his endorsement of "local government control" which kind of hearkens to "states rights" and is something of a regressive right libertarian dogma. Either he hasn't really thought about it or he's more of an ideologue than even he realizes. The point seems to go over his head, though the protesters certainly make a row about it.
IMO the correct way to view it is that good government is wise government, not big or small government. And corrective measures should be allowed at any level, given malfeasance can occur at any level. IOW, local government should be able to correct federal government, and vice versa.

I've been saying it for ages, this wage gap bullshit will only ever benefit high earning women mainly from the 'entertainment' industries where actresses & female TV anchors will get huge salary hikes for parity with male colleagues whether they deserve it or not. The rest of working womankind will get diddly squat, men will be shamed into accepting pay cuts, no pay rises for years until women's wages catch up or be forced to do less hours, all this will happen with union backing of course who will want to be seen to have solidarity with the sisters.SM1957 wrote: ↑ The Guardian wants to close the gender pay gap by ensuring that men don't earn as much as they do.

Really... here is a fix to an economic problem.... let's work less! Fuck me.
here is a fix to getting more women promoted.... promote them even if they are not interested in a promotion.
here is a fix to the problem of some people bargaining for better wages... eliminate all performance based pay.
Only an academic could think these are good ideas.

Re: There are 2018 genders... and a bitch ain't one
Interesting that, as always, the best that Meyers's friends can do is to throw a couple of photos together in PowerPoint. Meanwhile we have Ape, Gumby, Jan, Mykeru, Gefinlgle, and so many others who have, over the years, taken the time and put in the effort to produce high-quality images and videos. Take this guy, for example, who couldn't even be bothered to either a) spend 10 seconds to adjust the brightness on the Joker image so it wasn't just a dark smudge, or b) choose another one of the ten quantillion images of the Joker which google will happily spew into your lap.Ape+lust wrote: ↑ Peez once again piggybacks on shit he swears he doesn't do (in fact, a recent video "reply" he made to Noel Plum was largely a complaint about Noel shooping his face on a Batman villain).

'You're not entitled to sex. You don't have a right to sex. If you're pissed that someone you like doesn't want to have sex with you, that's your problem, not theirs!'
Thus goeth the SJW mantra on this particular aspect of sex and relationships.
But apparently, transwomen are exempted.

They really are mentally ill to think they can pass. Where have I seen this before?Kirbmarc wrote: ↑

But even if that were true, announcing to every woman you're interested that 'I should tell you now that I don't date transwomen' is sure to go over just fine with the 99.7% of your dates who aren't transwomen.▪ Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

If you guys wouldn't have had me on ignore you might have noticed I reported on this a few days ago. And even better than it being a Liberal MP, it was an NDP MP (very left SJW party).

I'm genuinely shocked. It appears that the good people of Europe don't necessarily wish to share their continent with hordes of migrants. They're not too keen on being stabbed, shot, run over or blown up either, who'd have thought?

We need to build a Cluster B Ark to send off the narcissists, the histrionics, and those with antisocial personality disorder, ahead of the rest of us us to colonise a new planet and ensure humanity's survival against the coming of the mutant star goat.
Cluster C's are avoidant. They don't bother me so I don't bother them. Lovely fellows.
Cluster C's just sit in their rooms making hats from tin foil. My kind of people.
But fucking Cluster B's. Jesus. We need to get them off the planet ASAP.

This reminded me of a recent article I read:SM1957 wrote: ↑ The Guardian wants to close the gender pay gap by ensuring that men don't earn as much as they do.

(my highlighting; full article here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24167309)The development of human female competition: allies and adversaries.
Benenson JF
Throughout their lives, women provide for their own and their children's and grandchildren's needs and thus must minimize their risk of incurring physical harm. Alliances with individuals who will assist them in attaining these goals increase their probability of survival and reproductive success. High status in the community enhances access to physical resources and valuable allies. Kin, a mate, and affines share a mother's genetic interests, whereas unrelated women constitute primary competitors. From early childhood onwards, girls compete using strategies that minimize the risk of retaliation and reduce the strength of other girls. Girls' competitive strategies include avoiding direct interference with another girl's goals, disguising competition, competing overtly only from a position of high status in the community, enforcing equality within the female community and socially excluding other girls.
This article arguest that enforcing equality is often used as a competitive strategy amongst females. But it seems this strategy is often being used in a broader context. In my community (astronomy academia) , an argument increasingly advanced by SJWs is that we work too hard, and expect too much hard work of others. The claim is that this is unhealthy and exclusionary; scientific progress shouldn't require that people toil for long hours, since this would be discriminatory against people who can't/won't work those hours.
In my eyes, however, these claims are window-dressing for a competition-by-equality gambit. The proximate goal is to cast hard work as a manifestation of privilege, and therefore target it for elimination. Once certain members of the community are prevented from putting in more hours than others, the playing field will be more equitable. The ultimate goal is that the hard workers -- typically, the most committed to their research -- are hamstrung by the lazy, in order to provide the latter with a competitive edge.

Life is short. You don't get to do everything. If you want to have kids that's going to limit your career. If you want your husband to look after the kids that's between you and him. Patriarchy didn't make you give up your job to raise kids. That's a decision you and your husband made together. It's not the government's role to compensate you for something you and hubby should have sorted out between you.
