A few weeks ago, as part of my increasingly strenuous rehab, I popped up for a visit to check up on her (she's one of those completely "off the radar" types who'd disappear for a year if you left her alone) and whilst having a cuppa in her living room, an old battered 3-seater sofa casually shot past the window (10th floor) on its trip to the car park below.

I've been begging her to move into my place rent-free until she sorts out better living quarters but she's having none of it.
