Though they may not wish to do anything that could be interpreted as leaving a black mark against Anita's public record. So rather than walk on eggshells in the minefield - it may be easier just to say nothing.

As a general direction it's all good though, I'm more than happy to have (major) differences in opinion with a bunch of people as long as it doesn't make me a nazi who ought to be punched.

As with most of my considering of all this, I'm mostly thinking about the effect this has on younger folks who are ripe to be influenced. If the next generation can avoid falling into the shitty trench warfare we've seen then good. If young girls don't so readily get taught to be victims then good. Anything that chips away at that is good in my book.

By the time you reach my age you mind is mostly made up already, which is why I have no problem being critical of prominent youtubers but also watching their content. However I think that younger people get convinced by this stuff so I'd rather have an alternative to all the 'muh patriarchy' nonsense that isn't just right-wing talking points- so in that sense I welcome these events.
