Doesn't look like the story has been picked up by too many outlets.

Apparently the Clinton foundation published a WARN realease to announce lay offs for CGI.

Supposedly this was announced in -house back in Sept. ( whether this is BS or not has not been confirmed)
The Clintons announced well before the election that CGI would be shut down:

Lucasfilm announced they will not CGI Carrie Fisher. Coincidence?

Never mind. Apparently she is friends with some comedian called Kurt Metzger who pissed SJWs off by standing up for someone accused of rape. If you want to read the dumbest thing you'll read all day, here is a daily beast article about it.

Amy Schumer Defends Rape Bro-pologist Kurt Metzger: ‘He’s Not Bill Cosby’

The name of the column is 'not helping', if the title alone wasn't enough for you.

I find it incredibly funny that they have to open the column with this line:
Contrary to what Taylor Swift might think, feminists don’t actually enjoy criticizing other women.
Also they're smearing Metzger with guilt by association, and Schumer with guilt by association by association (association squared?). How long before anyone who's ever spoken positively of anyone who doesn't think that accusations are evidence is called out for "not helping"?

If Kevin Bacon is ever accused or rape we are ALL guilty by association.

With some of the rhetoric the SJWs are coming up with, it wouldn't completely surprise me.

But my dosh is on another sleazy tape/video. I heard of one video that includes dwarfs and a kangaroo.....

I couldn't keep up my resistance and I joined Twitter. I did it for only one reason however. I am only following Donald Trump. Haha. It is the only way I am going to know anything about him since the media is a pile of fuckups.

Last night I was watching CNN at the same time the Donald was.... cause he tweeted about the show (about Ivanka). Haha. It is weird to think the Donald and I were both just watching tele.

I actually know of (not know) a woman who attempted suicide because of Trump's election. I think what's going on here is there are always a set of people who are on the brink of one kind of breakdown or another. Any event they consider traumatic will push a subset of the set over the edge. This really hit me in California once in the aftermath of an earthquake. I kept hearing about people having breakdowns. These weren't people whose houses got destroyed or who were in bridge or building collapses. They were just people who, for whatever reason, interpreted the event as personal persecution and as their world falling apart.

Who was it that defended PZ's lament about his 2.5 day full time equiv "working" week?

He has a post up complaining of the horror of his first 8.00 am start. The pain of having to literally cross the road to get to work. The lecture that's so long (105 min) that he has to send the kids flying half way to an extended coffee break.

He has also posted his whiteboard for session 1A. This is what occupied a University lecture for 50 mins on evolutionary biology. One which required all that detailed lesson planning. I kid you not.

I think it's like a lawsuit - where you want to go for the deepest pockets you can justify. If I'm hurt in an accident with a semi, I'll sue the semi driver for sure, but maybe also the company that employs him, because I might be able to drag them into it with some tort law justification (negligent hiring maybe?) and more to the point, they actually have the money to pay my hospital bills.

The feminists could attack Mr. No Name who has been accused of rape, but no one will pay any attention, because no one is going to know who he is. Luckily Kurt Metzger defended No Name though, so they can go after him, and he gets them a little more attention. Then when Amy Schumer wades into the fight and tells them that maybe they should cool it, they've hit the jackpot. Everyone has heard of Amy Schumer, so now their bitch fest will get them tons of attention. On a related note, this columnist at the Beast could have written a column about No Name or Metzger, but she is going to get shit tons more hits by putting Amy Schumer's big fat ass name in the headline. Schumer is the focus of the piece for the same reason Gawker spies on celebrities and publishes their sex tapes, not because there is any kind of legitimate "guilt" to speak of.

I am now imagining her campaign ads being as timely as the port of her crappy videogame.

Imagine voters in that district two months after the primaries have wrapped up suddenly catching an ad on TV for the race that's already concluded.

Yea. Even if there aren't any prior to it - or major disruptions:

Fucking idiots; all they're doing is just massively discrediting the left - if they still have any. Greenwald had some interesting observations thereon:
Greenwald wrote:The Deep State Goes to War With President-Elect, Using Unverified Claims, as Democrats Cheer

IN JANUARY 1961, Dwight Eisenhower delivered his farewell address after serving two terms as U.S. president; the five-star general chose to warn Americans of this specific threat to democracy: “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.” That warning was issued prior to the decadelong escalation of the Vietnam War, three more decades of Cold War mania, and the post-9/11 era, all of which radically expanded that unelected faction’s power even further.

This is the faction that is now engaged in open warfare against the duly elected and already widely disliked president-elect, Donald Trump. They are using classic Cold War dirty tactics and the defining ingredients of what has until recently been denounced as “Fake News.” ....

The serious dangers posed by a Trump presidency are numerous and manifest. There is a wide array of legitimate and effective tactics for combating those threats: from bipartisan congressional coalitions and constitutional legal challenges to citizen uprisings and sustained and aggressive civil disobedience. All of those strategies have periodically proven themselves effective in times of political crisis or authoritarian overreach.

But cheering for the CIA and its shadowy allies to unilaterally subvert the U.S. election and impose its own policy dictates on the elected president is both warped and self-destructive. Empowering the very entities that have produced the most shameful atrocities and systemic deceit over the last six decades is desperation of the worst kind. Demanding that evidence-free, anonymous assertions be instantly venerated as Truth — despite emanating from the very precincts designed to propagandize and lie — is an assault on journalism, democracy, and basic human rationality. And casually branding domestic adversaries who refuse to go along as traitors and disloyal foreign operatives is morally bankrupt and certain to backfire on those doing it. ....
Though there is much scope for humour of a schadenfreude-ish nature and otherwise, even if some of it might be a tad premature:

Wu is bringing the lulz aplenty with this Congress campaign, it's gonna be entertaining stuff while it lasts. So, 2 retweets and 35 likes so far on that one. Just got to transform those stellar numbers into votes now! It seems as though the campaign slogan is really going to be "Wu you gonna call?" I thought that was a joke, but I think they are serious, what a fucking bobblehead.

Yeah, it's the same with me. The fact is, Keith Richards excepted, our bodies are less and less able to take the abuse as we get older. I still occasionally go on a bender, but it's very rare, and takes a week to recover from.

<snip>

Modern scientifically-developed mutant strains of dope are like strong spirits compared to the beers of our youth. I sometimes worry for those of our young people who are smoking the dopine equivalent of a couple of bottles of vodka every day.
Indeed. Interesting question as to how cannabis affects neurotransmitters - think there are, seems obvious there are, significant benefits but non-trivial dangers too. Particularly, as you suggest, from mutant strains that maximize the psychosis-inducing effects. For my taste, and the "state of mind I'm in", it's too much like Russian Roulette - with extra chambers loaded; I've seen "The Deer Hunter" too many times not to be apprehensive - and wiser (?) :-)

But curious or interesting too, the conflict between more mainstream drugs and the "new" kids on the block:

I gotta say it's hilarious seeing all the conservatives losing their shit over this when Wikileaks was their new best friend a couple months ago.

Fucking hippies, they ruin everything.

Riiiight. So you've read Greenwald, and determined that everything that any "journalist" or "reputable" newsmagazine has said about DJT is the Gospel Truth, so help you gawd? Do tell. But you might first consider:

Tablet, The Scroll: Why Did The New York Times Publish Fake News About Trump, Zionism, And Alan Dershowitz?

Quillette: The BuzzFeed Fiasco Shows Us Why Trust in Institutions Is Dying

Methinks you're a little too quick to judge the book by the cover, to have recourse to "four legs good, two legs bad".

:-) Though one might argue that even earlier subcultures made their contributions too:

Methinks you're a little too quick to judge the book by the cover, to have recourse to "four legs good, two legs bad".
Methinks you are the pot calling the kettle black, having never actually having read an entire book and just picking out the odd juicy quote.
Actually, I doubt that peepee gate is real but I do find it funny to see Trump complaining about fake news after his birther shit and the months of quoting the Alex Jone's types and saying "some people are saying, that's what is being reported people can make up their own mind.
Of course you Steersman never are victimized by confirmation bias.

I think that was a bad news. Xe basically committed treason and should be shot.
On the other hand, Assange said that if Manning was shown clemency he would surrender to the US authorities.

Nice hyperbole but long ways from being accurate - your stock-in-trade?

Sure, it's somewhat amusing, somewhat ironic. Doesn't mean that Trump isn't periodically spot-on; you might actually try reading - if you're capable of it - that Quillette article on Trump's views on NATO.

Sure. And will generally admit it when I've been shown credible evidence about "the error of my ways".

...you have a very peculiar idea of what constitutes "treason". Did Mark Felt commit treason against the POTUS when he passed information about Nixon's dirty tricks to Bob Woodward?

Obama is dead to me (spits). I'm embarrassed to admit I voted for that moron twice (I almost didn't the second time). I hope the screen door DOES hit him on the way out. What a fucking fucker.

His greatest blunders: Extending the tax cuts on the rich. The handling of Ferguson. Encouraging violence against the police (oh yes, he did). ISIL/Syria. STABBING ISRAEL IN THE BACK and reversing 50 years of American Middle East Policy. Supporting Mohamed Morsi. And now, releasing a traitor.

What an asshole. I'm done with the Democratic Party. They can suck my balls.

Oglebart wrote: Wu is bringing the lulz aplenty with this Congress campaign, it's gonna be entertaining stuff while it lasts. So, 2 retweets and 35 likes so far on that one. Just got to transform those stellar numbers into votes now! It seems as though the campaign slogan is really going to be "Wu you gonna call?" I thought that was a joke, but I think they are serious, what a fucking bobblehead.
Unfortunately for Wu, she's already made the strategic error of blocking all the people who would get the most joy out of retweeting her campaign tweets.
