We must remove the bottom layer of that pyramid

so that we have a shorter pyramid

in which we are all closer to murder.
I am 95% sure the signature on the cartoon is @ziibiing

So, no, that comic is not satire nor poe. She means that shit.

Good. Unfortunately for you this hangout was not recorded. It was backchannel private event not meant to be made public. We got to be ourselves and show our faces and use our real names. You just need to plan to be at one.

The haters claim that the impostor's use of male underwear was enough to raise suspicions and that panties are, pardon the pun, a seminal moment in a trans girl's life.

But what about the men who like to wear panties who must number in the millions worldwide? Are they necessarily women?

This is a needlessly complicated issue.

As if transgenderism wasn't complicated enough. Now it's down to what kind of underwear you choose to wear? And I think the dispute was whether she wore panties full-time or not, which apparently she hadn't - or didn't. I think it's stupid. By the way, I would love the judge for this transgender beauty pageant to give her opinion on Danielle Muscato.

It's not like it's even difficult. CHS's feminism comes from an individualist background, which is basically about acknowledging that people are unique individuals with their own abilities, desires, and so on, and accepting them (as much as we can) and moving on from there. Most of the feminist culture/theory out there, unfortunately comes from a collectivist background, which is basically using top-down averages and generalizations to study overarching cultural trends.

I often wonder how making the individualist vs. collectivist divide front and center, make it impossible to ignore, would change the dynamics of these discussions. I really do suspect it would tear away a lot of people on the fence away from the collectivist side, to make it clear that yes, there is an alternative.

Aw shucks, I'm humbled that Gumby had such a thought. I just have always liked to find people who are really good at something and play in the same park with them, more in order to give a few more points of reference for the real geniuses to spring off of. The slymepit poetry adventure was fun too. I think the art thing I'm most proud of here has been to nudge Ape+lust into looking closer at gimpish animations. Also, I only joined this place about halfway through its history, and as a newbie I don't have the well of history and knowledge to draw on to get that real pithy edumacational edge like the masters here.

Com: thanks for including me in yr chat, I mostly sat quietly enjoying the conversation. You're a skilled MC. And the one time I saw Benoit was in '95 when he was working the house shows with Jushin Liger leading up to Starrcade. The decade the house shows died.

Your suggestion that Fuzzers be awarded PAM status is under consideration. Close, but waiting for 1-2more flashes of genius wanted.

Fuzzy: hang in there!
Art Master? Oooh, great idea! He'll come through

If you've got one to spare, Strawkins might be due. Among other great shoops, his flight of the dyspeptic baboons and Peez birthing Oolon were instant Pit classics.
IIRC, Strawkins did more than a few hidden jems. I'd search them up but spoons, I ain't got em now...

Strawkins doesn't always put his stuff into the archives, which can make them hard to find.

Plus, one more to consider, please -- Brive! He's the only one who does satire and infographics. Useful infographics are hard to do.

Black, Democrat student called ‘Uncle Tom’ for defending free speech
...(Zack Wood is) the leader of an unofficial student group (at Williams College) called Uncomfortable Learning that seeks to challenge students to think outside the progressive and preppy college’s so-called Purple Bubble by bringing thought-provoking speakers to campus. ...

As for close-minded peers, there’s two things at play.

“Especially for some students of color, it truly does hurt them in a deep way,” Wood said of inviting someone many consider a racist to campus. “In the same way of Israel and Palestine, the issue of race for African Americans is sometimes such a sensitive issue.”

“What Williams needs to do a better job of is instructing students of ways in which they can separate the head from the heart and think critically about these pivotal issues,” Wood added. “If it’s just emotional reasoning, you’ll never see the other side. You’ll only look to confirm your own biases.”

“The other type of student is: You are my adversary, you are my political enemy, and I just don’t want you here you. I will do whatever I have to do — dramatize this, self victimize, say whatever I have to say — to ensure you don’t step foot in my home,” Wood said.

In the end, both types do a disservice to higher education.

“I am not saying emotion isn’t a real thing,” Wood said. “But if we’re going to have an intellectual, fruitful conversation, my whole thing is take John Derbyshire to task. Ask him tough questions. Criticize. Figure out what is the evidence. This guy is clearly not stupid … try to figure out how is it someone of his intelligence can think what he thinks and be OK with that.”

“There is value in that,” Wood said.

Agreed! Although Brive is arguably deserving of a special badge. But a badge he should have.
