I recon folks what'll get eaten first are the vegans trying to convert the leopards to an all-tofu diet. Then the idiots buried in their smartphones tweeting out their Very Important Thoughts. Hipsters attempting to pose with them, furries attempting to fuck them, endless fun. I think this old cripple will be pretty safe, seeing as I have situational awareness, a great knowledge of the wilderness and animals, and a 45-70 Marlin.Billie from Ockham wrote:Who do you think that these "leopards" are going to eat first?

I plan to get rich selling my all natural, trans-approved leopard repellent, the primary ingredients of which will be tuna fish and beef gravy. It will feature a trans WOC on the front, and the unmistakable message that only an MRA wouldn't use the stuff.

Gee, with leaders like Corbyn and Smith I wonder why the polls rating for the Labour Party are so low...The two men also clashed over who was responsible for Labour's low opinion poll ratings, with Mr Smith repeating his assertion that Mr Corbyn could not lead the party to power and Mr Corbyn urging him to rejoin the shadow cabinet.

And as always, they note that white people can join the conversation by "shutting up."
I have to look at that bit again. I'm sorry, but -After we published the review, we heard from Latinx readers who believe the portrayal of Salma Hayek’s taco was racist and that it reinforced harmful stereotypes. We heard from readers who were upset that we labeled the taco a lesbian when it seems more likely that she was bisexual. We heard from readers who questioned the consent of the sexual encounter between the taco and the hot dog bun. We heard from readers who found the taco to be a damaging portrayal of a predatory queer woman.
ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME???We heard from readers who found the taco to be a damaging portrayal of a predatory queer woman
Anyone with an ounce of sense would ignore readers like that. Holy shit. I cannot believe this was written in all seriousness. How utterly oblivious to you have to be to even the vaguest notion of what might constitute the absurd to write all that in the hope of sounding like a reasonable person just writing what reasonable people ought to think?
I can't honestly believe how far gone these people are. It's not even funny. Honestly, how can you get through to them? I mean, We heard from readers who questioned the consent of the sexual encounter between the taco and the hot dog bun - how do you begin reason with such people when to them, this is an entirely reasonable poser? Holy shit.
I guess I must have had some latent hope that even the most far gone SJW might have a vague, blasphemous inkling of how ridiculous it might all sound. But I guess not. Again -
Holy shit.

It's about how Christoph Blocher, a former Swiss minister of the Swiss People's Party doesn't want any more close ties between Switzerland and the EU. The article calls the Swiss People's Party a "far-right" party, though, which is laughable. The Swiss People's Party is a right-wing party, but it's the largest party in the Swiss Federal Assembly, and if it's "far-right" then the US Republicans are downright Nazis.

Re: The Refuge of the Toads
Yeah, I mean this is the area where, once the main battle against authoritarianism, free speech, etc., is won, Pitters (and others who are now in coalition against the regressives, SJWs, etc.) will start splitting up, swearing at each other, etc., etc., which is all quite right and proper.Kirbmarc wrote: The nature of the safety net and of the incentives is open to debate. Is it better to have "negative income taxes" and school vouchers like Milton Friedman said, or do more Keynesian solutions work better? Is it better to have single-payer mandatory healthcare, or are other solutions a better fix?
I view it as, there are natural "Right" and "Left" tendencies within liberalism itself, the former more concerned with overall stability, conservation of what has been achieved, and the logical priority of individual (negative) rights, the latter more concerned with trading off some degree of long-term success for the short-term goal of raising the level of the poorest, compensating for accidents of birth, misfortune, etc.. And that's actually a healthy to and fro - so long as it's all held in the context of an individualistic philosophical foundation. It's really only the collectivist element on both the Right and Left that has to be avoided.
Some degree of group analysis is necessary to understand things, but as soon as the group is elevated over the individual, the core sense of liberalism is lost. Also, as soon as people start caring about group desserts, balance and relations between groups, etc., they're caring about abstractions rather than people.

The Korvax would definitely be the ones most suited to the definition of cybernetics by both the common 'robot' definition and the one above. Haven't the foggiest idea how you might integrate some of those aspects into a "sea filled planet", but it might be kind of cool if you did so. Bit of an inside joke, kind of like "Rayshul's Perfection" planet, and the flower you were thinking of as an emblem for it. :-)
But, somewhat apropos of which, I had been reading On Stormy Seas - written, as it happens, by an old aquaintance - that described the voyages of discovery by Captain George Vancouver, and which you might be interested in. ....
Cool. :handgestures-thumbupright: :flags-canada: :-)
But, somewhat apropos of the game itself, a somewhat amusing, though equally disconcerting, tweet from Dave Rubin:
Maybe you can take some consolation or satisfaction from that in knowing you're unlikely to be running into any other players who are slavish devotees of Jezebel. Though I kind of agree with their general premise that "man" being a definition for both a male member of the human species as well as the species tends to deprecate the contributions of women - part of my objection, no more than a quibble really, with Bronowski's book and documentary titled "The Ascent of Man". But I haven't noticed Jezebel or any other "feminist" leaping to the fore to accept blame for women in general as in the "man's inhumanity to man" for their no doubt trivial contributions to that. Methinks they doth protest too much.

Another difficult rape story for the SJWs to deal with. I've only just heard of it, and I've only just heard of the actor - NATE PARKER.
He is, apparently, fairly high profile now, but was accused of rape when he was a student, about 15 years ago. The story has resurfaced because his "victim" has committed suicide.
Problem for the SJWs is that Nate is a PoC.
