I assumed that "taco" and "hot dog bun" were euphemisms. Then I clicked through. We cannot all die too soon, such that a new dominant life-form can emerge.
I must disagree. We just need a lot more chlorine in the gene pool. My dad always used to say "too many people, not enough leopards." It used to bother me that he said it loudly at my school functions.

My favorite part was the girl who hadn't actually seen the movie yet, but rifled through 10 pages worth of google search results trying to find evidence of transmisogyny

Who do you think that these "leopards" are going to eat first?

I'm worried that your suggestion will make things worse.

ps. you could swap stories with my kids

I clicked through. Started to read. Got perhaps 10% through and then this happened:

I recon folks what'll get eaten first are the vegans trying to convert the leopards to an all-tofu diet. Then the idiots buried in their smartphones tweeting out their Very Important Thoughts. Hipsters attempting to pose with them, furries attempting to fuck them, endless fun. I think this old cripple will be pretty safe, seeing as I have situational awareness, a great knowledge of the wilderness and animals, and a 45-70 Marlin.

I plan to get rich selling my all natural, trans-approved leopard repellent, the primary ingredients of which will be tuna fish and beef gravy. It will feature a trans WOC on the front, and the unmistakable message that only an MRA wouldn't use the stuff.

From the article:
Owen Smith, Labour leadership challenger wrote:We don't know. We would all hope that it happens quickly, we would all hope they stop being a murderous terrorist organisation and try and bring about peace. But at the moment there's no evidence of that, is there?
   The Labour party is thoroughly fucked.
The two men also clashed over who was responsible for Labour's low opinion poll ratings, with Mr Smith repeating his assertion that Mr Corbyn could not lead the party to power and Mr Corbyn urging him to rejoin the shadow cabinet.
Gee, with leaders like Corbyn and Smith I wonder why the polls rating for the Labour Party are so low...

That was hilarious. Odd how SJWs are incapable of intentionally producing humor but can produce a gem like this without trying.

All dogmatic ideologues are unable to produce good humor but are goldmines of unintentional hilarity. They take themselves, their lives, the world and their ideas way too seriously to see how stupid and funny they are.

Really?

This stuff really depresses me. What's the point of doing anything if people like this are the ones succeeding and the ones who have a voice? How can anyone read that bit and avoid thinking, "These people are insane. Every single one. Or they're in third grade."

That is the dumbest shit I've ever seen in my life. I like Tom's activity in the comment section. It's amazing that the same people who are brought to tears over the mischaracterization of an animated Hispanic taco love to talk about the "fragile male ego."

And as always, they note that white people can join the conversation by "shutting up."
The 'dumbest shit I've ever seen in my life' barely covers it. Holy shit. holy. shit. Just look at this bit right here - honestly, didn't the writer even stop to think how utterly ridiculous this piece of writing was?
After we published the review, we heard from Latinx readers who believe the portrayal of Salma Hayek’s taco was racist and that it reinforced harmful stereotypes. We heard from readers who were upset that we labeled the taco a lesbian when it seems more likely that she was bisexual. We heard from readers who questioned the consent of the sexual encounter between the taco and the hot dog bun. We heard from readers who found the taco to be a damaging portrayal of a predatory queer woman.
I have to look at that bit again. I'm sorry, but -
We heard from readers who found the taco to be a damaging portrayal of a predatory queer woman
ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME???

Anyone with an ounce of sense would ignore readers like that. Holy shit. I cannot believe this was written in all seriousness. How utterly oblivious to you have to be to even the vaguest notion of what might constitute the absurd to write all that in the hope of sounding like a reasonable person just writing what reasonable people ought to think?

I can't honestly believe how far gone these people are. It's not even funny. Honestly, how can you get through to them? I mean, We heard from readers who questioned the consent of the sexual encounter between the taco and the hot dog bun - how do you begin reason with such people when to them, this is an entirely reasonable poser? Holy shit.

I guess I must have had some latent hope that even the most far gone SJW might have a vague, blasphemous inkling of how ridiculous it might all sound. But I guess not. Again -

Holy shit.

Unreal.

Feminist Reads From Xir Prepared Poem wrote:I was catcalled 4 times on the way here.
So does that mean she wrote that long poem just before she got to her little poetry slam, AFTER she arrived? Or is she clairvoyant and knew exactly how many times she would be cat called? Or did she have to circle around continuously on her way there trying to attract enough attention to be catcalled exactly 4 times.

Kirbmarc wrote:Here's an article on Politico I find rather inaccurate: Swiss far-right warn against ‘creeping’ EU

It's about how Christoph Blocher, a former Swiss minister of the Swiss People's Party doesn't want any more close ties between Switzerland and the EU. The article calls the Swiss People's Party a "far-right" party, though, which is laughable. The Swiss People's Party is a right-wing party, but it's the largest party in the Swiss Federal Assembly, and if it's "far-right" then the US Republicans are downright Nazis.
So the SVP is a far-right party?

Kirbmarc wrote: The nature of the safety net and of the incentives is open to debate. Is it better to have "negative income taxes" and school vouchers like Milton Friedman said, or do more Keynesian solutions work better? Is it better to have single-payer mandatory healthcare, or are other solutions a better fix?
Yeah, I mean this is the area where, once the main battle against authoritarianism, free speech, etc., is won, Pitters (and others who are now in coalition against the regressives, SJWs, etc.) will start splitting up, swearing at each other, etc., etc., which is all quite right and proper.

I view it as, there are natural "Right" and "Left" tendencies within liberalism itself, the former more concerned with overall stability, conservation of what has been achieved, and the logical priority of individual (negative) rights, the latter more concerned with trading off some degree of long-term success for the short-term goal of raising the level of the poorest, compensating for accidents of birth, misfortune, etc.. And that's actually a healthy to and fro - so long as it's all held in the context of an individualistic philosophical foundation. It's really only the collectivist element on both the Right and Left that has to be avoided.

Some degree of group analysis is necessary to understand things, but as soon as the group is elevated over the individual, the core sense of liberalism is lost. Also, as soon as people start caring about group desserts, balance and relations between groups, etc., they're caring about abstractions rather than people.

Wow this post-review apology. It would take us a while to pen something like that as a parody. Writing it as a real statement is so mindblowingly strange I would almost pay for a little chat with pyrson who conceived it.

It's a Seth Rogan movie, Jesus. I bet it had less pages of script that this drivel.

Haven't the foggiest idea how you might integrate some of those aspects into a "sea filled planet", but it might be kind of cool if you did so. Bit of an inside joke, kind of like "Rayshul's Perfection" planet, and the flower you were thinking of as an emblem for it. :-)

But, somewhat apropos of which, I had been reading On Stormy Seas - written, as it happens, by an old aquaintance - that described the voyages of discovery by Captain George Vancouver, and which you might be interested in. ....
The Korvax are the scientist race. The other two are traders and warriors. The Korvax would definitely be the ones most suited to the definition of cybernetics by both the common 'robot' definition and the one above. They are not a lifeform but an electronic shell (maybe they are somewhere remote? or maybe they are secretly the ancient Atlas race? who knows, don't change that Bat-channel!), so both robots and understanders/definers of systems. Anyways, if I can find a sea filled planet in a Korvax-run solar system, I will name it "Stormy Seas of Steersman". :)

Cool. :handgestures-thumbupright: :flags-canada: :-)

But, somewhat apropos of the game itself, a somewhat amusing, though equally disconcerting, tweet from Dave Rubin:

Maybe you can take some consolation or satisfaction from that in knowing you're unlikely to be running into any other players who are slavish devotees of Jezebel. Though I kind of agree with their general premise that "man" being a definition for both a male member of the human species as well as the species tends to deprecate the contributions of women - part of my objection, no more than a quibble really, with Bronowski's book and documentary titled "The Ascent of Man". But I haven't noticed Jezebel or any other "feminist" leaping to the fore to accept blame for women in general as in the "man's inhumanity to man" for their no doubt trivial contributions to that. Methinks they doth protest too much.

I've compared it to Mt Olympus on Mars. You keep thinking you are nearing the peak but the mountain is so huge the summit is still over the horizon.

I think the absurdity is the point. How better to demonstrate your SJW credentials than expressing a belief in something so clearly ridiculous?

I have to say that those blades, which can still be bought and used in antique GEM razors, would be better used in paint scrapers. I'll stick with my straight razors, which allow me not to worry about forearm anatomy when I wish to do the deed.
Now if I had only known of that difference some 50 years ago (she loves me, she loves me not) ....

But as a doctor, even as an erstwhile one, I would have thought you would have ready access to pharmacological solutions to that problem rather than having to rely on cruder and messier mechanical ones. In any case, kind of curious about your views on Canada's recently ratified assisted dying bill. While it certainly seems a step in the right direction, it also seems to leave high and dry many of those for whom the scene in no longer worth the candle. Unfortunate that those people - a group which, potentially at least, includes all of us - will now have take that battle to the courts once again.

Title IX states that: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.Apr 29, 2015

... as opposed to Chapter which is 9 yadda etc.

Another difficult rape story for the SJWs to deal with. I've only just heard of it, and I've only just heard of the actor - NATE PARKER.

He is, apparently, fairly high profile now, but was accused of rape when he was a student, about 15 years ago. The story has resurfaced because his "victim" has committed suicide.

Problem for the SJWs is that Nate is a PoC.

This has been leading the news in the UK. Not sure what happened with the woman on the left. Bad case of alopecia, perhaps.

Anyway, I lolled at their idea of committing a "perfect murder", only for them to detail it in one of their diaries. Which they left for the police to find!
That's the plot twist in Kind Hearts and Coronets

The one of the left looks like she snorted Dennis Hopper's ashes.

I fucked up. I meant the one that gives schools public money. Not an American, etc. But maybe I didn't miss that much seeing schools getting sued for their kangaroo courts over sexual matters.
Yes you did fuck up by not being borned an American. You should ever feel ashamed of that fact.

I also think it was very kind that they let the special school visit and flap contentedly to the beat.

"ersrtwhile"? As in "former"? The bloom is off that rose or you had something else in mind? (Hard to keep up with everyone's personal dramas ...)
Wife and I may have made a decision not yet communicated to the couple in question.
:-) Seem to recollect you had tried to suggest to your son some flies in that particular ointment. No doubt hard to do without that having the opposite to the intended effect.

The shoopster has a post up, my call is that he is positioning Nate as a coconut.

Yup. The guy has a WHITE wife. Obviously a traitor of some sort, and obviously not a GENUINE "person of color", according to SJWs.

Aside from the obvious mystery of how TOTP manages to find so many people who cannot dance in time to the music, it has to be asked why the southern tradition for big hair is so persistent. As sceptics, these are the important questions that SJWs are keeping us from.

Lynn Anderson was arrested for shoplifting a Harry Potter DVD. She later died of a heart attack out of sheer shame.

I'm thinking of releasing a best of e-book.

If someone will pay me for both pages worth of work.

1. FundMe
2. Patreon
3. Kickstarter
4. Not delivering shit

Trans woman implies that an injectible estrogen shortage is a conspiracy on the part of the FDA. Some refreshing pushback in the comments section. Surprising for the Guardian.
