Bullshit. If I kill a samurai & hang his sword on my wall, it's still a samurai sword.

Should be careful threatening Tom Cruise like that.

Commie-- I just heard Kongo Kong tell Cabana that Noelle Foley got Twitter heat for body shaming Kong... saying he 'forgot to wear his bra' in the ring. A little part of me is glad to see a bit of the usual protective concern for females applied to a male. But most of me is appalled that the SJW mindset leaks into wrestling in any form.

That's hilarious. So you can hit a guy with a folding chair and slam his head into the ground, but don't body shame him.

An un-PC tweet might be too microaggressive for a black 'savage' in face paint, named after an ape, who wrestles at Insane Clown Posse concerts.

Western Illinois University trustees on Friday voted to eliminate African-American studies, women's studies and two other degree programs due to poor enrollment and low graduation rates.
Maybe "peddling woo" would have been a better justification but may their tribe increase, University of North Carolina being a prime candidate:

If I were Ms. "Bryanne" Young's father and had paid for her "education" then I would be seriously thinking of suing the University for fraud.

Pandavar wrote:The importance of Ramadan eat-ins

On 24 June, between 17:00 and 19:00 (5pm-7pm), the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain, of which I am a member, is organising an eat-in at the Saudi and Iranian embassies in London. This is in solidarity with those around the world facing repression for defying Ramadan fasting. Says Maryam Namazie, “This is hugely important given that there are many people across the globe who are arrested, beaten and fined for eating during the month; many others are pressured into fasting, including in Europe.”

Entirely possible, although I think there are many pairs of such proper names - Joseph and Josephine for example - where, I assume, it's unlikely that the latter or Byranne are normally attached to males. But I suppose it also possible (.3 chances in a 100?) that Bryanne is a transwoman, and that, as you apparently suggest, she was originally a "Brian".

I don't really have an opinion. Have not heard the podcast and am not very familiar with Kongo Kong.

What I can say is I find the internet wrestling fans to be kinda stupid. Most of them think the know everything that is happening and yet don't understand that most of the time they are being played. Without even looking into it would assume Foley is just playing a role.

This is her for those of you wondering.

I know I haven't seen that second series (The Bottom, Bottoms?) Couple months ago I was looking for it and couldn't find a way to view that legally or otherwise.

I think the best thing for wrestling is to get away from the PC culture it's heading to. My idea championship feud would be between Darren Young ( black and openly gay) against some racist homophobic heel. You can't do that these days because people are not even allowed to pretend they are hate filled pieces of shit anymore.

A blast from the past.

What I learned from the last two Terry Firma authored entries at Friendly Atheist, one about a Pakistani daughter being
burned alive by her mother and another about a man being hacked with machetes by teenaged Muslims for eating during (I guess) Ramadan:

- Words are as violent as physical violence. Yes, whitey white McWhite Faces claimed stuff said to them by disapproving family members was in every way as violent as being tied to a couch, having kerosene poured over you and being set on fire to burn alive -all doe by your mother -

- Christians want to burn you and kill you just as bad, but they can't because secular reasons. Forgetting the concept of a secular state arose in and was approved of by states with 98% or more Christians, starting from the time of the Magna Carta.

The radfem/SJW's have been taught well by their Marxist masters/professors. Words kill, the wrong words, the words not on the approved list of the Marxist masters. If these Marxists were to achieve power in the form of their useful proxy-idiot SJW/radfems students then people using words and phrases on the 'not allowed' list would by Marxist definition literally be killing people, as surely as if they were tied up, doused with kerosene and lit on fire. And I guess the punishment should fit the deed.
Their main problem would be finding enough people to guard the people put in jail and 're-education gulags'.

I would love to see all Federal funding for Womens/Race/Gender hate studies shut down and these Marxist 'professors' have their bank accounts emptied to pay for the remedial counselling needed for the damage they've done to their young students. And then throw their asses in jail for hate crimes against the youth of Western nations.

And the racism/bigotry of these first world whitey white McWhitefaces to say people saying things to them that they don't agree with is as bad and as violent as a third world brown-skinned female being burned alive by her mother is as racist and as bigoted and as detached from reality as it gets.

Phil, you're up early for someone who was at a birthday party last night. I'm just about awake. I'll give you ring when we're up properly. We're at Camping Magali on Route de la Baronne.

Right now I'm reading "letters to a Young Contrarian" by Hitchens. It's a fun read, but there's still things I don't agree with, like his marxism. He went in depth about it in Hitch 22, and it's still the one thing I can't understand about the guy.

Fuck marxism. Stupid, retarded, idiotic and infantile ideology. Whoever embraces it loses respect in my book.

Ok, I'll check it out on Google. As for being awake early, I'm probably still drunk from yesterday...

As much as I dislike Marxism (and I dislike it a lot) this "mean words hurt you just like violence" meme is the mutated inbred child of post-modernism.

Po-mo philosophers have rejected Enlightenment values wholesale. They've rejected the idea that reality exists, the idea of moral values which aren't relative to a society, and believe that anything and everything is a social construct (including human psychology or physiological processes, and even natural phenomena or logic). In post-modern philosophy the goal isn't to clarify or correct beliefs according to empirical grounds but to further "social narratives".

Post-modernism is the philosophical basis for identity theory. Since there's no truth and there are no standards to define things then self-definition is the only way to approach reality, and those who want to define things are fascistic oppressors. Words hurt not because they're mean, but because they define things. Meanings can be changed at will by the individuals or (more likely) by those "fighting against oppression".

This is why transwomen define themselves as 100% women and why otherkins exist. This is also why you can't criticize Islam as a supporter of "white society". The problem which post-modernism has with "whiteness" at its core isn't a political or historical one: it's not really about the horrors of slavery or of colonialism. It's about fighting against Enlightenment and its values.

Po-mo "narratives" see the ideas of Enlightenment as oppressive of "other cultures", just like science oppresses "other ways of knowing". So if you judge a Muslim who hacks a person to bits for not respecting Ramadan you're an oppressive cultural imperialist, a "Mighty Whitey" who thinks that he knows better than Persons of Color.

They had their cultural reasons for their act which you, as a westerner, will never understand, so if you try to judge them you are being an oppressive fascist who want to impose their culture on the culture of someone else. On the other hand, though, if a Muslim criticizes the "West" they're in the right, because the "West" is guilty of the worst sin of them all, having tried to create standards and values for things that cannot be defined and have no value. Science is fascist, the Enlightenment is fascist, everything is cultural and whiteness is horrible because it created both. We always need to "celebrate diversity", even when diversity means murders, rapes, mass killings and other "cultural perks".

If you, Western devil who thinks that reality exists, dare to criticize other people for living their life outside of your oppressive schemes, it means you're a fascist, a colonialist who treats the Other as a savage instead of accepting them, and you're the real monster who should feel guilty about what you are and possibly go away.

Bottom (The name is descriptive of the condition/state of the central characters lot in life - they've hit rock bottom/the bottom of the heap), is a work of genuine comedy gold! It's violent, crude and unashamedly vulgar - a veritible perfect storm of "wrong" that hits all of the right spots if you've got a warped sense of humour.

The above video (the first of the Live stage shows) is a personal favorite. Worth watching for the script failures, accidental hits and general stupidity alone!

A Dutch girl in Qatar reported a rape to the authorities and was arrested.

This is a case for the SJWs!

It is a marvellous show. I've heard the original title was "My Bottom" because they wanted people to say things like "did you see My Bottom on TV last night?" That's how fantastically childish Rik and Ade's sense of humour was.

I liked the one where Eddie sellotaped the burglar to the ceiling.

We will see.

As a side note, once again I find myself just a little surprised that someone else in the 'Pit seems to know what is going on. I guess I should not be. At least one person registered here is Iranian (forget who exactly), another was learning Farsi, and it turns out another has Hayastan roots ...

Sheesh. I better be careful about spouting bullshite in the Slymepit I suppose. A safe space this is not.
