I don't really have an opinion. Have not heard the podcast and am not very familiar with Kongo Kong.

What I can say is I find the internet wrestling fans to be kinda stupid. Most of them think the know everything that is happening and yet don't understand that most of the time they are being played. Without even looking into it would assume Foley is just playing a role.

As much as I dislike Marxism (and I dislike it a lot) this "mean words hurt you just like violence" meme is the mutated inbred child of post-modernism.

Po-mo philosophers have rejected Enlightenment values wholesale. It is a marvellous show. I've heard the original title was "My Bottom" because they wanted people to say things like "did you see My Bottom on TV last night?" That's how fantastically childish Rik and Ade's sense of humour was.
