Even better, they demand it! You couldn't make this stuff up. I look forward to some inevitable Baxter memes and Baxterisms.

It's not as good as it use to be. The big buzz the last week around the wrestling interubes is about a match that happened in Japan where the two guys decided that chronographed gymnastics can be wrestling too. The sad thing is most people agree with them.

There is no sellings (pretending you are hurt by a move) and while they are athletic it's not enjoyable for me to watch at all.

Just listened and, Jesus fucking Christ, I am speechless.
Yes.

Holy shit, people, you must listen to that Baxter/Stollznow story on the Wrecking Crew podcast. Unbelievable cunts.
Can someone post a link to another location for that podcast? My curiosity is burning a hole in my ass, and that link is blocked at work, and I have nearly nothing to do here.

They don't list ticket prices on their website, and you have to call in order to buy tickets. I wonder if they really do shows every week, or only schedule them when they get enough people to sign up.

He said in the podcast that he hasn't had work in months. I am assuming he just put those events on repeat in the calendar and hasn't bothered to take them off yet.

How is it "idiots on all sides"? Are you not allowed to support your candidate anymore? Were Trump supporters 'asking for it.'?

Judging from the Venezuela situation, IF everything really were to go all to pot, what you really need are either:

* An escape out to another country you can stay in, plus a method of making money in that country.

Or

* Property & shelter in a rural area away from the cities, plus sufficient tools to grow your own crops, and raise your own chickens & meat, oh and guns & ammo for protection.

Got the second covered. I live in the suburbs, and we're down to a single hen, but my dad has all kind of land in rural Oregon. My uncle too, with a lovely vineyard.

I really don't think we hate him. There was a great deal of disagreement over some of his tactics regarding PZ. He wanted all of us to join him in his special mission to contact his employer and get him in trouble. We never kicked him out. We just disagreed with him. He left in a huff when we didn't back him up.

This is all on him. He is the one who needed us all to agree with him.

Fuck... I would have left this place on day one if I needed the pit to agree with me. Half the people here (maybe more) don't agree with me on a daily.

This.
It seemed to me that Mykeru wanted the pit to be his army and when many people didn't agree to do it he decide we wasn't good enough for him.

I like a lot of his work, even if he thinks too much of himself.

I think his big issues is like so many people, he is all or nothing. He doesn't think that people can be friends (or allies or whatever) unless they agree on every major issue.

Just because I was mulling over the Venezuela situation and what it would take to survive decently for a few years in a country like that:
* Emergency food for the first year
* Shit load of salt for preseving meat
* Plenty of assorted seed stock, including fruit tree & berry seeds
* ChickenS, because you probably want them to procreate
* Cows for milk, meat & procreation
* Mule - Protects livestock & eats grass
* Dog - Provides protection & early warning
* Solar panels (will cut the need for fuel to burn & other uses)
* Significant emergency kit & drugs
* Guns & Ammo, powder & bullet packing tool
* Crossbow (deer meat works for me).
* Significant canning supplies to store food over the winter
* Equipment for a still (alcohol can be used for fuel & trade).

What John D said. He had a conniption because the pit wouldn't be his army. I don't hate the guy, though his twitter rantings that we were all sitting on the sidelines pissing on anyone who decided to act annoyed me, as you can't conclude from someone not wanting to follow your particular plan that they aren't doing anything at all.

Back in my community organizing days one of the best advice I received was to not get stressed out debating people who will never come around to your way of thinking. Give your pitch. If they nod along you sign them up. If they aren't interested, it's on to the next door. The time you waste attempting to persuade the unwilling is better spent taking action yourself, and finding the people who need no persuasion.

According to the mayor, yes:
The mayor, a Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter, criticized Trump for coming to cities and igniting problems that local police departments have to deal with.

It's a bubble I think because his movies are pretty good.

I don't understand any of these people. If I was trying to get people to see my movie, one that already has bad press, I don't think I would be attempting to turn off even more people.

I mean there has to be at least 20 people who read that who is now not going to go see the movie.

Surely, human companions could provide for at least some of your needs.

Are you suggesting he goes all Mad Max Fury Road?

I was just going to suggest goats cause they are easy to deal with.

Goats can survive a lot of things that would kill a cow. And they're handy, not just for milk.

I'm not going to ask what you do with goats and cows that causes a high bovine mortality rate.

Eating goats would kill them too. Unless you are an old lady who swallowed a fly.

(I don't know why she swallowed a fly)

According to the mayor, yes:
The mayor, a Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter, criticized Trump for coming to cities and igniting problems that local police departments have to deal with.

"At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign," Liccardo said.

Like the Chechens?

BTW ... do not be surprised at what happens with people who survive an attempted genocide. For some reason, it does not exactly promote peace and tolerance afterwards.

A travelling salesman drove past a farm one day and noticed a pig with one wooden leg. He didn't think much of it until a week later, driving by the same farm, the pig had two wooden legs. The third week, the pig had three wooden legs, and finally, after seeing the pig the fourth week with four wooden legs, he had to stop to inquire about it.

He tracked down the farmer and asked him about the strange sight. The farmer told him, "Well, that's the greatest pig alive. About a month ago, he saved my wife and kids and me from our burning house by waking us up in the middle of the night just in time to escape without any harm!"

The salesman continue to prod the farmer about the pig's wooden legs. "Well," the farmer replied, "this pig is just like one of the family. He's a really great pig. A couple of weeks ago, our youngest boy fell in the creek, and this truly wonderful pig fished him out just in time to save him from drowning! He's one really great pig!"

The salesman, starting to lose his patience, again inquired about the wooden legs, to which the farmer replied, "Last week, I fell off my horse and my foot got caught up in the stirrup. This great pig ran along side of the horse and me and untangled me and truly saved my life. What a great pig - the greatest pig in the world!!"

Losing his patience, the salesman finally shouted, "All right already, That's enough! He's a really great pig - a REALLY great pig! But what about his wooden legs?!"

To which the farmer replied, "Well now, a great pig like that - you don't eat him all at once!"

In my case, it looks as though 4-5 letters were added since I last read it. Which was awhile ago.
