With the caveat that I've never played Battlefield 4; the deluxe edition includes one of the DLC map packs, the premium edition includes all five map packs they released. If I were going to play for any amount of time I'd go for the premium. Might be easier to find other players that way, too. Can't speak to the quality of the map packs though.

Only if you want to play on the CTE (i.e., beta testers) servers. The regular, vanilla, game is still fucked up - the last time I played I still saw the same problems it's had since release - horrible lag compensation, one shot kills around )through) corners, walls, etc. The premium probably has the map packs, but I'm not sure anyone really plays on those anymore. Most of the you tubers who still play BF4 do so on PC and in the CTE servers. I tried to find servers playing any of the newer maps on console and found squat. PC might be different, and maybe they actually fixed things they said they were going to fix months and months ago, but given their track record of promising much and not delivering, I doubt it. EA used to have a "free play" for a week or so - if they still do, try that before you spend money. With the release of BO3, Halo 5, and others within 3-6 months, you might be better off waiting, or going with battlefield 3 or bad company 2 (lots on those from what I hear). Disclaimer, I gave up on all FPS games for months after continually trying BF4. The game sucked that much. I have no trust or confidence in DICE to be able to produce a working game. So take my advice for whatever you want.
Fallout 4
Thanks, guise. I'll do some more digging. I'm also open to other suggestions. I don't play FPS games, so assume no knowledge.

That's over a year ago. In which she writes:

She's not even trying to be coherent any more. If, of course, she ever did try to be coherent. She started in on Glenn over a year ago.

I just looked at Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and it, also, has a $20 plain version and a $30 deluxe version. It also has a money-back option on Origin, which is nice. Pay the extra $10?

Her comments in that video are not the determining factor in whether or not she is a porn star.
I'm not sure she would describe herself as a porn star. In this video, and on a few other occasions I have seen, she describes herself as a sex worker.

So Glenn polls her readers for points of view on any given issue, and she sources what she deems to be the best material for her video recordings.

Easy out with attribution. I hope she is paying attention and learning from the criticism she is receiving right now.

My guess is that those earlier examples of plagiarism were all cases of cluelessness, as opposed to conscious theft i the sense of knowing that it was wrong as it was being done. She simply liked what the commenters said and copied it, not really knowing that it was highly inappropriate.

I think a huge part of this is that nobody really takes youtubers seriously. Yes, a small set can set themselves apart based on the quality of their own work. But the bulk of them are just yapping out their own opinions. It is barely one step above a comment.

Yes. Amusing and all for about 5 minutes. But at some point you grow up and recognize that just because you clicked their link on youtube and you can see their videos any time you want, and hey, maybe they will respond to a few of your youtube comments, doesn't mean that you know them in real life, they probably don't even live in the same city much less state as you, and are probably getting deep dicking by a much better looking more successful guy in their home town. Their knowledge of your existence amounts to an video view increase of +1.

So yeah, content matters more. Do you actually learn anything new that helps you to understand the world better, or at the very minimum carry on a more intelligent conversation with the people you meet up with in real life.

18 month old child can't really help it. That is kind of what they do.

If Rebecca had a solid full time job in a less expensive city she could afford to quickly and easily move to a better apartment, or shoot for an apartment in a building that has better construction and sound proofing.

If Rebecca can hear that kid this easily, think of the poor mother and child wondering why their neighbor has abducted and is fucking a drunk sealion every night.

The pungent stench of piss and ocean water wafting up from the porch makes her gag every time she opens a window. Her finger hovers over the phone dial pad as she contemplates calling Green Peace. But is that who you call about something like this? Who are the right people to call? All she knows that something very wrong is happening over there.

RonSwanson wrote:Really worth a read:

1 in 4 Women: How the Latest Sexual Assault Statistics Were Turned into Click Bait by the 'New York Times'
by: Brian D. Earp
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brian-ear ... a&ir=Media

Surprised it was published on HuffPo but I guess the chance at taking a (deserved) swipe at the New York Times was too good to pass.

From the article:
Now, much more could be said about caveats, but using just the information we have so far, we can see that a more accurate headline would look something like this:

Approximately 1 in 4 of 19% of a Non-Representative Sample of Women Who Responded to a Non-Representative Survey of 27 Colleges (Out of Roughly 5,000) Reported Experiencing Sexual Assault, Where "Sexual Assault" is Taken to Mean Anything from Being on the Receiving End of an Unsolicited Kiss to Forcible Penetration at Gunpoint, Regardless of the Particular Context

Obviously, that's too long to be practical - so let's see if we can think of something shorter:

Latest Campus Sexual Assault Survey Paints Complicated Picture: Report Stresses Methodological Limitations

That's about right in terms of accuracy ... but it wouldn't sell very many papers.
From the article:
Even more to the point, there is a risk that "overselling" these kinds of findings will actually backfire in the long run, casting a shadow of cynicism over the efforts of those who are struggling--against not inconsiderable odds--to establish a culture (but hopefully not a bureaucracy!) of affirmative consent on college campuses.

The last thing our society needs is one more excuse to take rape statistics lightly.
From the article:
The goal, in other words, should be to massively reduce the incidence of sexual harm--not only on college campuses, but everywhere. But in order to do this, we need to be serious about how we estimate the prevalence of assault, frank about the limitations of what we know and don't know, thoughtful about how we define our terms (including the range of behaviors we feel comfortable collapsing under one label), and painstakingly careful about how we communicate our findings to the public.
I have to wonder how many SJWs think it's good to oversell the stats so that we can achieve a better society. Like, lying for Jesus, or perhaps more accurately, misleading for Jesus.

You guys today I considered sexually assaulted my spouse who was sleeping and unable to consent. I decided not to do it, only because he kept farting. He did everything right

These smash parties? Is this a "thing"? Did I miss the memo about this? Is it an American thing? (being from the UK)

Except in the most egregious reply-girl cases, I would have to disagree. Tits buoy you up quite far in the Youtube rankings.
Sure people will click once or twice or a few times to see if your content is worth while. They probably will get a lot more initial clicks than many others. And they may even get more subscribers than others of equivalent quality.

Honestly, when looking at the "reply-girl" phenomenon, I think that is more of a reflection on audiences than it is on the girls themselves. The "reply-girls" are not doing much of anything different than many other youtubers responding to popular topics that they think of as interesting. It is just that an attractive person will tend to garner more clicks.

Take a look at the guy Glenn copied.

I don't think it is so much of a mistake that she copied it from an attractive man. She was probably following him for his looks.

And then you have this popular PewDiePie youtuber racking in millions of dollars. Attractive.

OK. So looks matter for initial hits, and certainly doesn't hurt in the long run if you can eek out some quality.

(Or at least I suspect those guys look attractive. I may not be the best judge of that.

In certain circles, that's referred to as "an SAS mission"- you get in, do the job, then extract without anyone noticing.

Just saying...

PZ approves of a Steve Shives video, not surprising, this is the smuggest most full of shit version of the "awful misogyny in the atheist movement.
https://archive.is/Bqtqm

And a lulzworthy quote from PZ at the end:
I should probably do some more youtube stuff. I’ve tried a few times, and had to run screaming from the revolting vileness of the average commenter.

If there is any way we can get pz to start doing youtube videos, I would love it. pz is like an undiscovered lulz cow. Without his horde, he has no defense.

When I was 8 I smashed a nice national geographic globe.

My dad came in with the belt, and asked "Why!?"

"I was mad at the world, dad"

He laughed which definitely always lessened the severity of the belt slapping
