Actually, in 2011 Sanders said that a progressive primary challenger would "enliven the debate" but that Obama would be the nominee. Sanders has not said that Hillary Clinton will be the eventual nominee in 2016. This leave two possibilities open. First, having seen no other progressive step up in 2012 has made him willing to play the leftie foil for Clinton to "enliven the debate"; or, second, that Sanders doesn't see Clinton as either inevitable or worthy, so he really is running for President. The idea that he's doing it just because she is (apparently) female enjoys no support. It's a correlation with an N of 2, which has zero degrees of freedom.

Alex Gabriel isn't the sort of guy you get sarcastic with in public. He is the kind of guy you get a restraining order for. So the gag order for Eron whats-his-name, the Zoe Post guy has been lifted.

He is specifically opting not to speak too much at this moment, but is now telling what all of the fund raising has done, along with court papers (so we have proof the money has been going where it belongs, and proof of success so far.

At this point he can either walk away with his gag order lifted. Or he can press on the appellate case to the State Supreme Court, in the hopes of creating a precedent on the Massachusetts State level, to help prevent the abuse of these types of gag orders in the future. I am not a lawyer, but one might hope that the case might aid in other states who have yet to decide on such matters.
