I'll admit you are right that Svan's blog post did come first and it resulted in a short lived discussion started by Notung. Only after SDG posted and his post was linked to by a commentator on FTB did a serious heated discussion ensue with multiple slymepitters.
But again, this isn't about what Svan thinks. The issues raised aren't a direct response to her or an attempt to change what she or other FTB bloggers think about the slymepit. What multiple people have said to the chorus of "fuck off" is that we should consider what other legitimate skeptics might think, those who are sympathetic to us who actively oppose FTB and A+. But like I said, if this forum is just masturbatory I suppose the point is moot. I personally see this forum as pretty important and it has been a great resource for articles and blog posts by very smart people. It could be pretty decisive in beating back a lot of the ideology arising in skepticism, however many of you would rather complain about it (as if it gives you something to do) than try your best to fix it, and that is a shame.

1. Declare war on everybody who doesn't believe exactly the same thing that you do
2. Point out that you have a particular weak spot to various things
3. Receive attacks on said weak spots.
4. Complain that you've received said attacks.
They wanted a war, they got one. It's not that I don't approve of said attacks...I don't. But I don't approve of culture war stances either, and that's a good reason why. It's because they devolve the argument into flames and attacks rather than discussion.
That said, I do suspect that at least to some degree, some of the hate messages that various people are receiving are either A. From people outside the debate entirely, either uninterested or someone who thinks that the various RadFeminism stuff isn't Rad ENOUGH or B. A false flag operation designed to ratchet up tension in the skeptic/atheist community.
The reason for A, by the way was that when RW first put up her "Page O' Hate", the worst of the stuff she put up (IMO) sounded weird, and that it didn't belong, mainly that it was SPECIFICALLY calling out third-wave feminism. A week or two later I was browsing around and stumbled upon an anarchist feminist webring that actually sounded almost exactly the same as that particular threat. So I think it's more than credible to think that threat in particular came from someone who is criticizing RW for not being anti-sex.

Normally I would not care much as everyone gets threats so it is not hard to dig something up to feed their narrative. They are seen to manufacturer them too by hysterical tweet posts which loop into insanity. But I do not trust them so I wonder how much of the other stuff is genuine. I simply do not trust any of them to tell the truth so giving the benefit of the doubt on anything they say is not an option for me.
What do others here think and short of doxing (which I think is loathsome and should never be done) how could anyone show it to be true or not? Are they making stuff up?

No, they can't, nor can they "ignore" any form of consistent criticism. Maybe those people in those positions are the same as a Creationist teaching a science class, but I'm not convinced that this totally destroys her day-to-day function as Executive Director.
What Hensley needs is a good talking to. She may need some therapy. I don't know. What I do know is it must be hell on earth to walk around that pathologically thin-skinned and with an obsessive need to control other people. And to be so bad at it.
Probably because I recognize the fact that bullies of her sort (and Benson, Meyers, Laden, etc) are basically weak and fragile people, often I have far more sympathy for them than I may actually display.
The dilemma is, of course, that these sort of weak, fragile people can also do such harm to other people. Calling them out is not to remind them they are weak, ineffectual people, but to mitigate the harm they do.
I also recognize that any sympathy I may have for yappy little dogs like that would in no way be reciprocated. Even though I would tend to moderate the real world consequences for their bullying, they would destroy me, laugh about it, and sleep like babies.
