DEA seized another (different) Hunter Biden laptap, during raid on a psychiatrist accused of sexual exploitation of patients + stealing prescription drugs.

At some point people might realise that all these conveniently found laptops owned by Hunter Biden are about as likely as the idea that doctors inflate Covid-19 deaths because they get paid $2000 extra if a patient dies of Covid-19 rather than any other disease. And that's complete and utter nonsense.

No, I mean socialism as in the thinly veiled central economic planning of the Green New Deal and turning a blind eye to violent riots as long as the participants are the right kind of people, not the vigorous capitalism with relatively large welfare states of Scandinavia.

Really?

If these aren't real files from Hunter, how in the world did the non-mainstream press get all of the self-made Hunter Biden porn, both pictures and video? The family pictures... The selfie Hunter took before getting his meth mouth capped? Why won't the Biden campaign simply deny that the material is from H?

And this stuff wasn't "conveniently found." The FBI had it nearly a year ago and said nothing as Captain Mumblemouth was being carried into the nomination.

The main issue with inflated C-19 deaths is that they hugely disproportionately affect the near end-of-life population, and in most jurisdictions almost any death with a positive C-19 test is automatically considered a C-19 caused death.

Here's a bar chart showing the striking asymmetry of the mortality of C-19 within long term care homes vs the general population in Ontario (64% of deaths occuring in .5% of the population):

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ElqGfpYWMAY ... ame=medium

Statistics show the median stay in a long term care facility is 5 months before deaths, so we would normally expect about 40,000 LTC facility deaths between the onset of the pandemic and now. It's extraordinarily likely that the huge majority of the 2,000 or so who died with a positive C-19 diagnosis died primarily from old age, not the virus. The virus may very well have been a contributing factor in many cases, but these were people who were going to die of their next significant physical insult.

Hey, great minds think alike. I compared Trump to Churchill a while back and now Ivanka has done the same. I was joking, but I'm not sure Ivanka was.

Churchill only had to fight the third reich. Trump is fighting Covid-19. Much tougher.

Hey Driftless--

What did you mean, when you replied: "The CDC as well?"

Were you agreeing with Pitchguest-- that the media was peddling unsubstantiated claims about masks-- and extending that criticism to also-include the CDC?

Or were you disagreeing with Pitchguest/ scoffing at the notion that the media was peddling bunk/ and offering (as evidence)... that CDC infographic?... to support media claims about the effectiveness of masks?

Because-- back when you posted it-- I followed the bit.ly link at the bottom of your evidence. I read the case study at the link.

I pointed-out that the people on the left side of graphic co-habitated for 3 weeks. The people on the right visited for only 13 hours. And yet the CDC omitted the difference in exposure-time in the little blurbs below each picture.

EVEN MORE DAMNING-- the CDC wrote "Didn't wear masks" in the blurb under the people on the left. But there's no corresponding "Did wear masks" blurb on the right. That's because-- in the actual study-- it says the people on the right did NOT wear masks, either! And yet the conclusions drawn at the bottom of that case-study-- include the baseless assertion that masks are effective.

And then you posted the infographic here-- apparently to support the claim that masks are effective.

But when that was pointed-out... not a peep from you.

Maybe I don't understand how to do science. My understanding is-- when your test results/ evidence/ case-study doesn't support your claim; then you & the CDC are supposed to acknowledge that your thesis was not vindicated. You should NOT ignore the actual results, just keep fishing until you find some other evidence which seems to support your claim, keep singing the same tune.

So I had my prostate removed on Friday. PSA tests some months ago had suggested further tests, the next of which was called a 4K which is a more detailed PSA (prostate-specific androgen) test, the high score of which triggered a needle biopsy, which showed 10 of 15 cores with a Gleason score of 7 (3+4). They scanned my full skeleton after my drinking some radiological fluid, which thankfully showed no spread to the bones so far. I elected to go with the -ectomy rather than radiate or wait. And they do call it a robot.

Things went well; one night in the hospital and now back home feeling not much pain. No distress at all at the crotch where the gland used to be, but only on my belly where the machine arms came through. Also, they inflate the site of the surgery to give the camera visibility, and painful pockets of air remain for hours a which make that one night in the hospital appropriate. The catheter is particularly annoying at the top end where the water-filled bulb that holds it in place creates an unsatisfiable urgency to piss. And at the other end is pinch and entanglement, and the occasional forgetting to grab the piss-purse before one walks away.

Urinary control and erectile function don’t always come back from what I’ve read, but the doctor seems pretty confident that the appropriate nerves have been spared. He said he could see the ‘railroad tracks’. Kegels. He also took a couple of local lymph nodes for prudence. They pull the prostate out through the camera hole and send it to a pathology lab which will report back in a couple of weeks on how well contained the growth looks.

He has me on a quarter-dose of Cialis daily to help assure blood flow. I have to wear this Foley catheter for two weeks, after which my girlfriend and I can start attending to my phallic rehabilitation. The doctor said that they had ways to turn a setter into a pointer. I read somewhere else that the johnson can retract into the newly-vacant space, making my dong shorter. That will be a relief, as I was starting to trip over the thing. I’ll keep you posted.

I'm sick of this presidential race. It's almost over. It's not over yet. Here's a new atrocity:

Biden announced that Lady Gaga will appear at his Pennsylvania rally. Trump said she's an 'anti-fracking activist'.
Gaga tweeted "What's fracking?"

Test how much-- your access to information is controlled by the media and tech companies. Go search for information on whether Lady Gaga is 'an anti-fracking activist', or whether Trump is lying. See what results you get.

---
Don't cheat & use this info-- until after your test-- but try-again-- using the phrase 'Artists Against Fracking' and the year 2012.

I believe the stats in more than a few nations show spikes in non-Covid deaths which are hard to explain. The conclusion is that these deaths are almost certainly due to Covid but being ascribed to other causes. One of the features of Covid is an ability to dull the pain response so it could be that the symptoms are being masked.

To be fair to Gaga, I think she actually twatted "What's a fracking?" and the responses to Trump seem to be focusing on his characterisation of Gaga as a famous anti-fracking activist rather than as a famous singer who is anti-fracking. Arguably a fair response although the projection of desperation and rage which tends to go with it is quite desperate in itself.

I passed the usual line of Trump flag waving demonstrators. I usually give them a thumbs down and we all have a merry laugh. Today I "just can't". I'd prefer him out of office, but the Zen mind says whatever happens happens. I've aired here before my theory that actually it's the out of power party that covertly effects more change, even if it's change with a latency. I haven't really seen anything that contradicts that. It's a very different American now than in 2016.

And in his latest mini-podcast he describes an 'epiphany' he had, presumably subsequent to the Sullivan podcast, on where Trump gets his support. He concludes it's a reaction to rhetorical abuse from the woke identitarian sect. I think just about everybody who's pondered the issue has realized quickly this is a major factor behind his popularity. We were talking about it here during the 2016 election. But Sam just realizes it now. He's also particularly bad with Covid alarmism, just emotion gussied up with fancy words.

I just had a chilling thought... about the kind of woman who is absolutely impervious to... not just 'facts and logic'...
but... any sense of obligation-- that her opinions should be consistent, or grounded in reality, or mathematically feasible.

I kinda forgot that sort of person exists. So I had to factor her into my election expectations, which then turned blue-er.

One example is my tranny friend Fang-- who experienced much hand-wringing and soul-searching before he voted for Trump-- the first Republican he has ever supported. But then he had a conversation with a feminist bookstore owner-- who told him Trump is bad because he supports Fracking. And Fang started to regret his vote. I asked him if he knows what fracking is. He said, "No, but it sounds bad."

Another example would be the Green New Deal-- a 4 page long document written in the style of a 14 year old's school paper. Yet many many people express heartfelt support for the Green New Deal-- who will never ever read those 4 pages, or even know from heresay what those pages say. Their reasoning is along the lines of "Green means go, red means stop". It's "New". And it's a "Deal"!
Sounds good!

In this vein, I recommend the recent Free Man Beyond The Wall episode, with a guest name Vin Armani. He sounds like an infomercial huckster. Like a guy selling an online 'Pick Up Artist' course. And, indeed, at one point-- he casually mentions his former profession as a 'high end gigolo'. He also steals ideas from Jordan Peterson, Jonathan Pageau, others-- without attribution. AND YET... his message in this episode is worth hearing: people are currently conditioned to think in terms of advertising and superstition. That's the language they understand. "The King of Beers". "If you don't wear a mask, you'll die". His hard-sell ranting is transparent, but it's a pitch worth pouring into the folds of your brain...

Me voting today at 2:30pm

Stroll into the church with my mask on. A nice woman tells me to fill out the address form as soon as the desk is open... and have my id ready.

A maskless 30 year old man signs his form and stands in line in front of me. I step to the desk and start to fill in my form. A 50 year old masked woman arrives and yells to the man "Hey... why aren't you wearing a mask?!?" The man replies, "Because I don't have to!"

Then the 50 year old masked woman notices the 30 year old woman in front of her also not wearing a mask! So the woman says "It's not very smart to not wear a mask!" And the maskless woman says, "The CDC says I don't need a mask to vote and I am very smart!"

So I say... "Well everyone... I didn't expect voting to be so entertaining. Thank you!"

And they've released a tweet wherein they say "it looks like we've been deplatformed on some critical infrastructure".

For me, the only thing at stake in this election... is the way it will affect my attitude.

Four years of feeling a certain way about things vs. four years of a different flavor of opinion.

Weird.

And in his latest mini-podcast he describes an 'epiphany' he had, presumably subsequent to the Sullivan podcast, on where Trump gets his support. The term "galaxy brain" is frequently applied in ill-fitting ways. But it really fits Sam Harris. So-smart-it-makes-him-a-dolt.

Maybe tomorrow another synapse will flicker-- and he'll suddenly realize the copious purple prose he has used to insult Trump supporters-- has been another reason to say 'fuck you' and vote for Trump.
