Someone upthread mentioned a review of the panel where RW was referred to as "the feminist chick." These people are nobodies outside of their narrow little circle-jerk. He memory holed me by finding the nearest and flimsiest excuse he could use to permaban me rather than just being honest about it and admitting it's because I really get on his nerves and reek of teenage girl stereotypical air (For some reason, when you're one of those, you get on their nerves even more than other people they dislike.), and then deleting the thread I posted after being banned in order to defend myself and tell the forum that Lsuoma actually did something wrong, like invalidly banning me and then attempting to spread shit about my username.

I generally stick to PvP (player vs player) games but I also like to play the Sims or Minecraft. These games are like doll houses or sandboxes. Just play, everything you do is ok, and you can't really lose. Realtive to (for example) Quake 3 where you log into a server and proceed to get wtfpwnd for days and days until you start getting decent.
I am not complaining because there are still many great games out there, competetive, hardcore, PvP games. And, ftr, I know many females who are excellent gamers. We game together often.

I think that I really, truly feel sorry for Nugent now. It would have been very, very easy for him to toe the party line and brushed us off. He hasn't, and that actually makes me begin to suspect that his motivation might be sincere (however condescending). Really, it is all very predictable. If you do not do what they say you are a non person to them. Simple as that. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place. (Blasphemy to be called something as badass as 'Kain' and not live up to the name.) For instance Sarkeesian shoots out stereotypes like a machinegun but doesn't provide viable solutions herself how to resolve this, which this commenter pointed out:

Oh, and since we're on the subject, while inexplicably much of Anita's focus was on Nintendo games, Mario and Zelda in particular, and then mentioned some more examples (removing the context, of course), they were hardly the only games with female characters. In fact, from the SNES era, one of my favourite games is Kiki KaiKai, or as it is more commonly known: Pocky & Rocky. A cute game (in the chibi format) featuring Rocky, a tanuki (or raccoon), and Pocky, a miko. That's right. A shrine maiden. And is it good? You bet your arse. Plus it features one of the best soundtrack in a videogame. But did she bring that up? No. Hmm. Odd, that.
I lied. Of course it isn't. For idealogues like Anita, if they brought up examples counter to their prejudice, their world would fall apart.
There's several other examples where this trope fails completely. Off the top of my head the Lufia series (which is based on a female character), Lagoon (where the strongest character is a woman), Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, Wild Guns, Illusion of Gaia (or Time in Europe) - amazing games with great characters, men and women. But what gripes is that Anita seems to think that when a woman or little girl (like in Pocky & Rocky) is strong, they're only trying to emulate strong male characters and that's just annoying. I seriously think that Anita believes that video games with female protagonists can only be not emulations of male characters if there is no combat involved. It's the only logical conclusion to arrive at, given her disdain for masculinity in general.

Having an autistic spectrum condition is not the same as being a jerk. For the same reasons as above, conflating the two is deeply offensive. Asshole is not on the autism spectrum.

Ceepolk is a black woman. She is extremely marginalized - I know because she said so. There was that other time she was talking about clothes and how she lives in an expensive city and has worked in fashion, but I assume she only does that when she's not homeless/in jail/being denied the right to vote/having someone express disagreement.
