That's still one of the biggest things. I have zero interest in talking to these assclowns until they stop insisting on shit that isn't true. It's nice to see that Steven Novella gives a fair look at Ophelia Benson's slander of Shermer implying that he said "women don't do thinky" (among other things), but seems he still can't bring himself to criticise Watson for her misrepresentations - probably because they're good friends from their various podcasts of SGU.

Even Novella seems to have the delusion that the kerfuffle that later became "Elevatorgate" was all because of one little video, most likely because it's the story parroted by Watson and co. It appears it's so easy to forget the spat that came before the shit hit the fan, namely the libel of McGraw, the sensationalism offered by PZ Myers (and others), how magazines picked up on it; all of them eager to make a mountain out of a molehill. They succeeded, and history--inevitably--is written by the victors. That is why it is important that this site, and sites like it, exist to document the gross misconduct and their blatant revisionism. The truth will out.

That's still one of the biggest things. I have zero interest in talking to these assclowns until they stop insisting on shit that isn't true. I've said over and over and over that Watson had every right to feel whatever she felt in that encounter. I'm still willing to go with it happened, although she does make it difficult. Doesn't mean I have to AGREE with her, or take her advice, but she does in fact have the right to view that encounter as she did.

It was the attack on McGraw, (dunno if you can really call it libel), and the relentless mansplaining/revisionism from PeeZus, watson, et al that really drove me batshit. Watson has the right to her feelings and opinions of EG, but Stef needs to STFU and accept HER feelings of Watson's attack were wrong? "Dear Muslima" was pure privileged evil, but "You can't even say Rebecca attacked her, she never raised her voice or used bad language" is OKAY? "Dear Dick" is simply an accepted abbreviation of "Richard" but if you call "Stephanie" by the accepted diminutive of "Steph", OMG WHY ARE YOU DIMINISHING ME, IT'S STEPHANIE!!!!!!I CRY!!!!!

The hypocrisy and bullshit of those assclowns is almost undocumentable due to volume and flow rate, but whatever they do is always okay.

I love that Scented saved all those threads that got memoryholed. I see that PZ have deleted or hidden the comments on his blog, though, that featured words like "cunt" and "twat" -- seemingly from his own supporters. Reading through that thread about the pop tarts, Aratina Cage is a deeply troubled man.
