This will be my first time. Anyone been to the Southpoint before? What's it like?

Unfortunately, no. Can't afford it because my car went kerflooey. Also: Vegas is an absolute Aspie nightmare. Once a year for CES is enough for me.
I wish I could go, though! It's a long wait for the DVDs.

Would like to, but I'm in the wrong country and I'm poor. Pity, because without Queen Bee, PZ Barnum, and Opheliar, it will be a great event.

Would love to go, but I am on the wrong side of Pacific Ocean, and I have neither the time nor the money. This year's TAM will be great for reason CommanderTuvok mentioned.
And, also, Dr. Carol Tavris will be speaking again! In case anyone here still doesn't know how awesome she is, please watch the youtube video linked by DJ Grothe two weeks ago. She is a terrific speaker with good sense of humour.
