Using the DownloadHelper add-on for Firefox, I could not successfully download the .flv, but I was able to download the .mp4 video.

That's what I tried, no joy. I blame Firefox on Ubuntu - I have given it three years and a dozen clean reinstalls. FF just does not want to behave on Ubuntu - it does so much weird shit, I don't even bother troubleshooting anymore. The only reason I still use it is the magical Lazarus form recovery extension - which is crap on Chrome.
