Request: Problem with my avatar

Not sure why, but the phpbb didn't like my avatar. It shows up in my profile but it says it won't show it on my messages because it's not an allowed type. Well, the only thing slightly unusual about it is that it's a .png file, which shouldn't really be that controversial to support I don't think. It's below the other limits (size, resolution), so that must be it. Any chance the admins could just 'allow' .png? Is it like a setting somewhere you just turn on?
