Hammers or no hammers?

I've received a PM from somebody asking me to remove the hammers because they find them distracting (no, I don't understand either, but then I'm crammed to the gills with privilege (PISCINE privilege, the best sort)).
But some people have said they like the hammers.

I don't care much either way. I think as a joke they've done their job, but banning them seems a bit harsh.
