Search functionality blows

Do a search for "Laden" or "Justicar", it will respond with something like:
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: laden.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
I wouldn't have thought that those two terms were all that common. Not very reassuring for a forum with just over a thousand posts. Even if the result set were over 100 posts, which is possible, that would be more preferable than nothing at all.

A more effective way to search is to type into a Google search "site:slymepit.com [insert search phrase]". For example:

site:slymepit.com justicar
site:slymepit.com laden

Board defaulted to using a full-text word index. Have switched to a MySQL index. Looks like it's working better now.

Thanks for the heads-up. Please reply with any problems, and PM me as well - I may be scarce here for a day or two...
