Re: Mykeru, what a Cnut, eh? Discuss.

Just to change the subject ever so slightly from DDOS attacks.....The Winter Olympics have some of the most mental sports I've seen. I saw one where loads of people skate around a rink and then a friend of theirs skates in front of them and gets pushed along by the person he just overtook. Then the...

Re: Mykeru, what a Cnut, eh? Discuss.

One thing we have proven is some of the folks at FTB have waaay too much time on their hands. The sheer number of times that the video poster has responded directly to Parsehole's trolling on his video simply boggles my mind. I would hazard a guess that he has posted in excess of 60 times in the co...

What is that last one supposed to be.
I'm offended… the middle one on the left is clearly appropriating my culture.

OK, OK. Enough picking on the FreeFromThoughtBloggers, eh?

Let's talk about something exciting like the new lineup for the fall television season. Here's a show I am really looking forward to watching.

Re: Bleeding from the Bunghole

It's almost like WW2 over my house right now. There has been a Harvard bomber and a couple of 40's vintage fighters flying around. Comox, BC (Canada). Near a Canadian Forces Base. There's been some great airshows here, it's been 4 years since the last one so it's interesting to see some strange pla...

Re: AW: Bleeding from the Bunghole

Yikes. I almost feel bad for Sasha. He demonstrates some amount of guilt and then Twitter piles on and accuses him of being even worse than he thought he was. Not feeling bad for him at all. I find it repulsive when someone is sucking up so shamelessly. He deserves being abused just for being a toa...

Re: Bleeding from the Bunghole

Many of the old blues tunes that the Stones, et al, covered, trace back to early blues players, but even then much of that 'original' material dated from earlier anonymous sources. Folk music was always thus. When the Stones appeared on a US TV special early in their career, they insisted that Howl...

I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone mess up that phrase; they're at least a diamond dozen. The correct phrase is deep-seated. There is no diciontary entry for deep-seeded. Unless you use the Urban Dictionary. Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, there interchangeable. yuk, yuk

Re: Shall Mr Vacula Make a Misstep in the Capital of Eire?

I have some slight education in music history and theory, and I'm pretty sure most artists or at least art historians agree that what is now called "stealing" or "copyright infringement" is simply the way that the vast majority of art is and always has been created. Everyone takes from what has com...

OK. I never really waded through the comment section of an OB post at length before. Just WTF!?!?! How can a group of people be so mentally fucked as to turn the most basic bit of commentary on personal responsibility completely upside down and inside out in defense of their victim narrative!?!?!
